To provide worker discovery, direct employer matching, attendance logging, and task management, we may collect the following categories of information:
A. Personal Information Provided by You
Account & Profile Data: Name, phone number, profile photograph, skill category (e.g., cook, maid, driver, plumber, electrician), and language preferences.
Availability & Shift Details: Work hours, preferred shift timings, and active working days.
Work Records & Attendance: Check-in and check-out logs, tasks completed, and work history with connected employers.
Expense Information: Details and image receipts of work-related expenses or material purchases submitted for employer approval.
B. Device & Permission-Based Information
Location Data (Approximate & Precise): We collect location information when you search for nearby residential societies and complexes to help you discover relevant work opportunities in your vicinity.
Camera & Storage / Photos: Used with your explicit permission to let you take or upload profile pictures, photo verification of completed tasks, and receipt photos for expense claims.
Push Notifications: Used with your permission on Android 13+ to send instant alerts for new job requests, homeowner approvals, employer messages, and attendance reminders.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following specific purposes:
Facilitating Work Connections: To allow you to find residential societies and send connection/work requests directly to homeowners using the companion GrihaMine app.
Task & Attendance Management: To enable employers to assign daily tasks and verify your attendance records.
Communication: To provide in-app messaging and timely push notifications between you and your employers.
Account Authentication & Security: To verify your phone number via OTP and safeguard your account against unauthorized access.
App Optimization: To troubleshoot issues, resolve crashes, and improve overall app reliability.
3. Information Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share your information only in the following scenarios:
With GrihaMine Society Homeowners: When you initiate a connection request to a society or homeowner, relevant profile details (such as your name, contact, skills, and availability) are shared with that homeowner on their GrihaMine app to evaluate and accept your request.
With Third-Party Service Providers: We integrate trusted services that assist in operating the app, including:
Google Play Services & Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): For delivering real-time push notifications and crash analytics.
Legal Compliance: If required by law, regulation, or legal process to protect safety, rights, or property.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or misuse. All communications between the app and our servers are encrypted using secure HTTPS/TLS protocols.
5. Data Retention & Account Deletion
We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you with service history and compliance records. You have the right to request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time.
